Beach Hotel in Zanzibar

The SeVi Boutique Hotel is located on the edge of the village of Kigomani, directly on a very private bay where mass tourism has not yet arrived. The powder-fine white sandy beach is lapped by the turquoise-blue waves of the Indian Ocean. Wooden boats bob in the shallow water, children splash around and fishermen mend their nets.

Opposite the hotel is the famous diving and snorkeling paradise of Mnemba Atoll with its still very untouched underwater world. The longest sandy beach on the island of Unguja begins directly to the south. You won’t find any large hotels here, so you will come across villagers, cows, goats and only a few other tourists on a walk.

The beach of SeVi Hotel is protected by an outer reef that dries out at low tide. On the way there, you can see coral heads, colorful fish and many a sea urchin in the shallow water. At high tide, you can swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear water directly from the beach.

The hotel is nestled in a large, lush garden in which the bungalows are loosely distributed. At the heart of the family-run complex is the spa garden behind a natural stone wall. The small pool area is the ideal place for a dreamy retreat.

Next to the restaurant is the large pool and – slightly elevated – the infinity pool, which offers sweeping views of the beach, the ocean and the Mnemba Atoll.

The hotel’s own fleet of dhows and ngalawas, the local fishermen’s outrigger boats, are available for boat trips and excursions for diving and snorkeling, as well as for romantic sunset cruises. Further down the beach is a kitesurfing center and the PADI center of our partner Divepoint round off the water sports offer.
