In our restaurant, which is located on a rock on the beach, we prepare fresh fish and seafood as well as exclusive Swahili dishes.
Our food philosophy combines the island’s Afro-Arab-Indian heritage with modern influences from the Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.
We attach great importance to the origin, freshness and sustainability of our products. With your stay you support the fishermen of our village and local farmers who practice organic farming.
Inspired by the flavors of Zanzibar, we serve Urojo soup, a hearty dish made with potato croquettes and fried cassava strips. Other specialties include falafel, samosas, pilau, biryani, chicken or beef skewers known as Mishkake, fish in coconut sauce, baba ganoush, and Chipsi Mayai—an omelette made with fries and eggs, a typical island dish.
For a sweet finish, we offer fried dough pastries like Caimati and Mandazi, drizzled with honey or spiced syrup.
From the international menu, we offer burgers, steak, our signature dish – the seafood platter – and homemade pasta.
Whether you’re a guest of our hotel or not, we warmly welcome you.
